ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed us all to new limits. The clear message through it all has been how vital public health is to our well-being, including its impacts on the economy and commerce. No matter what future public health challenge we may face, the essential testing that environmental laboratories do to protect public health, including drinking water testing, air quality monitoring and legally-mandated federal and state monitoring, is critical to keep society healthy and moving forward. Join this talk to learn more about how intertwined environmental laboratories are with public health, environmental protection, and the essential role they have played during the COVID-19 pandemic.
