Green and Sustainable: An Approach for Environmental Labs

ABSTRACT
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires the use of approved methods to analyze samples for compliance purposes. It can be difficult to find alternatives to prescriptive processes, therefore attention has to be focused on the bigger picture. This poster presentation will discuss ways to green individual processes, minimize waste and provide examples of successful recycling efforts combined with staff involvement.
