ABSTRACT
This presentation will discuss the use of Certified Reference Materials to meet the technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 aimed at ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurements performed in the laboratory. Specifically, the presenter will examine the characteristics and production of Certified Reference Materials, the significance of traceability and method uncertainty in the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard and practical use of suitable traceable reference materials in the laboratory’s quality control program to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical data.
