Dr. Lytle began his post-degree career teaching analytical chemistry at Pacific University. He then worked at Tetra Tech and PTI Environmental Services, where he managed analytical programs for large Superfund remedial investigation efforts, including Anaconda, Bunker Hill, Commencement Bay, and others. He was laboratory director and a minority owner of NEA, Inc. and then president of LabCor, Inc., a laboratory niched in the field of air particulates and stack testing. Prior to earning his degree, Dr. Lytle conducted research in the fields of biochemistry, neurobiology, and neuropharmacology. His thesis was on trace metal transport in natural waters as mitigated by humics complexation equilibria.
