Eduardo Mateus
Eduardo Mateus holds a BSc (1991) in Applied Chemistry (Biotechnology) and a PhD (2009) in Environmental Sciences. He is a researcher at the CENSE (Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research) and a Senior Technical Research Assistant at the Department of Sciences and Environmental Engineering of the UNL-FCT, Portugal, where he supports research projects, undergraduate and postgraduate research and teaching. His current research interests focus on the study and development of sample preparation and analytical methodologies mainly using chromatographic techniques (e.g. SPE, SPME, GC, GCxGC, HPLC and GC/MS) to be applied to the characterization of complex biological and environmental matrices, Environmental and pollutants analysis, Chemical Ecology and remediation processes monitorization.
