Bruce Godfrey
Dr. Bruce Godfrey is President and Laboratory Director of Curtis and Tompkins (C&T) a 136 year old testing laboratory with a staff of nearly 100 employees in Berkeley, CA. He is a nationally recognized leader in the commercial laboratory industry with expertise in legally and technically defensible chemical measurements in biological and environmental matrices. He holds BS and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from the University of California.
Over more than 35 years at C&T, Dr. Godfrey has worked on a wide variety of environmental investigation and remediation projects with commercial clients, the US Departments of Defense and Energy, US-EPA, and state and local governments.
Dr. Godfrey is president elect of the AOAC Western Division, a voting member of California’s Environmental Laboratory Technical Advisory Committee, CoChair of ACIL’s Environmental Sciences Section, and a three time recipient of the ACIL’s Preston Millar award for outstanding service to the nation’s trade association for commercial scientific and technical organizations.
