Scott Siders
Scott D. Siders has over 30 years experience in the environmental field, both in the private sector (as a Chemist, Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager), USEPA and Illinois EPA. He currently is a Laboratory Accreditation Officer for the Division of Laboratories (DOL), Illinois EPA. Prior to serving as a Laboratory Accreditation Officer, he was the DOL’s Divisional Quality Assurance Officer for fourteen years. He has a B.A. Degree in Chemistry and Biology. He has been directly involved with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) since 1995, previously serving as the Chair of the NELAC Quality Systems Committee and a member of the NELAC Board of Directors. Since 2006, he has been the Illinois EPA’s representative on The NELAC Institute (TNI) NELAP Accreditation Council. Scott was elected in May 2012 to the TNI Board of Directors and also serves as a member of the TNI Chemistry Expert Committee.
