Patricia Atkins
Applications Scientist, SPEX CertiPrep, 5 years.
Patricia received her Bachelors from Rutgers University. In 1995, she joined Ciba Specialty Chemicals in the Water Treatment Division and worked as both a chemist and a Quality Control Lab Supervisor until their closure in 2001. She then took a position with Rutgers University researching air pollution and air quality in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. In 2008, Patricia joined SPEX CertiPrep as an R&D and Application Scientist in the certified reference material’s division and spends her time researching industry trends and developing new reference materials.
