Christopher Hand is an environmental scientist in ELAP’s Program Development Research and Enforcement Unit. He graduated with a BS in Chemistry from California State University at East Bay where he worked in a research laboratory studying high temperature and pressure on amino acids. Prior to his role at ELAP, he worked as a lead analyst at an environmental laboratory where he analyzed complex matrixes for heavy metals. Christopher is one of ELAP’s Laboratory Certification Officers and assisted with the development and implementation of ELAP’s new regulations.
