ABSTRACT
UCMR 3 monitoring occurred from 2013-2105. EPA has posted data in a public website (national contaminant occurrence database) to allow comprehensive slicing and dicing. This presentation will review the data from UCMR 3 with a focus on looking at whether the UCMR 3 sampling program was effective in capturing national occurrence patterns or whether alternative sampling strategies that are less costly would be equally effective. The presentation will also discuss some of the potential method QC issues that can be identified from review of the database.
