David Elam
David Elam has more than 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting area. He is a past presenter at NEMC and has been active in the source testing community, helping to advance the accreditation of source testing firms. Importantly, he helped form the agreement between STAC and A2LA, allowing emission testing firms to conform to ASTM D7036 and the TNI FSMO standard.
He holds a BS in Microbiology and an MS in Chemistry. Additionally, he is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, and a Project Management Professional.
Dave has presented on the issue of citizen science in the recent past. He sees both the potential and problems of citizen science and structures his presentations to make the best of citizen science.
