Daniel Hautman
Dan serves as the Deputy Director for the Technical Support Center (TSC) in the USEPA, Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water, Standards and Risk Management Division. Prior to accepting this position in 2010, he served as a chemist within TSC, and as the Team Leader, managed the direct federal implementation of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Regulation (UCMR). He obtained his B.S. in Chemistry in 1988 from the University of Cincinnati and has worked for the past 28 years on numerous EPA projects involving both organic and inorganic methods development, validation, environmental research initiatives and national contaminant occurrence studies. He is the author / co-author of over 15 technical manuscripts and 5 U.S.EPA drinking water analytical methods.
