Robert Haufler

Dr. Haufler is a Staff Scientist at SCIEX who is focused on time-of-flight mass spectrometer hardware development. The recently launched X500R and X500B QTOF mass spectrometer products are the result of his research efforts. Since graduate school at Rice University, Dr. Haufler has developed time-of-flight mass spectrometers for various applications. Previously Dr. Haufler developed time-of-flight instrumentation at ORNL, TDA Research, and Comstock Incorporated. While Group Leader at PPD Development, Dr. Haufler became a user and trainer of triple quadrupole mass spectrometers and helped manage a GLP regulated laboratory for pharmaceutical bioanalysis.
