ABSTRACT

Data visualization
offers scientists new opportunities for communicating scientific
concepts and results to lay audiences. Visual storytelling and design
concepts can help engage audiences to not only better understand
findings, but to help foster engagement with science, highlight critical
thinking and problem-solving, and teach about the scientific method.
