ABSTRACT

The State of California is in the process of adopting new laboratory accreditation standards, based on the TNI 2016 standards. In anticipation of these changes, the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) laboratory is pursuing full TNI accreditation in an effort to meet or exceed the new California standards. This presentation will focus on the challenges a municipal wastewater agency laboratory has encountered in addressing new accreditation criteria and how OCSD overcame them.
