Kevin Daniels

Kevin Daniels is a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona, advised by Dr. Shane Snyder. He earned M.S. in Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona and triple majored as an undergraduate in biology, chemistry, and environmental studies at Northern Arizona University (NAU), where he was awarded the Distinguished Senior Award from NAU’s College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences. Kevin’s research is on the occurrence, fate and treatment of Contaminates of Emerging Concern (CECs) like Pharmaceuticals, Endocrine-disruptors and Personal-care products in water systems. In addition, he is working on applying several bioassays to measure the environmental effect that CECs pose.
