Charles Appleby
Mr Appleby holds a bachelor degree in chemistry from California Polytechnic State University and has 40 years of experience in analytical chemistry, quality assurance, and laboratory management. He worked at the New York State Dept of Health and the Hackensack Water Company, served on the Region 7 and Region 4 ESAT teams, and has been employed by the Environmental Protection Agency since 2003. He has been involved with the Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) for methods and data review, data quality assessment, and laboratory evaluation, since 1988, specializing in GC/MS data validation. Mr Appleby has been teaching data review to colleagues, data users, and the public for 13 years.
