Nichole Schafer
Nichole Schafer is a Molecular Microbiologist at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. She has worked for the district for 6.5 years. During her longevity she has collaborated with many agencies on the development of qPCR assays for the indicator organisms E.coli and Enterococci in recreational waters. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Microbiology from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Nichole has her Class I and class II Wastewater Analyst certifications and is a member of the OWEA and WEF.
