Deana Crumbling
For the past 20 years Deana Crumbling has worked as an environmental scientist in USEPA’s Superfund Technology Innovation program. Educated as a biochemist and environmental scientist, she had 20 years of experience in analytical and biomedical chemistry encompassing clinical, industrial, research, and environmental laboratory settings before moving into the hazardous waste site cleanup arena. Crumbling has worked in cleanup at the federal, state, and consulting levels, publishing over 25 papers and giving hundreds of presentations on the topics of data quality, field analytics, and soil heterogeneity. She earned her M.S. degree in Environmental Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
