David Thal
David Thal is a Principal Chemist with Environmental Standards and has been with the firm for 7 years. He holds certification as an Environmental Analytical Chemist, Quality Auditor, and Food Scientist. He received BS degrees in Psychology and Chemistry and completed graduate studies in research design, statistics, and polymer chemistry. Prior to his joining Environmental Standards he worked for 21 years in the commercial laboratory industry, for BASF, and then for an ever-growing laboratory network variously known as IT Corporation, Quanterra, STL and TestAmerica, working as an analytical chemist and as a technical manager, providing national leadership on high performance analysis of sediments and tissues.
