ABSTRACT
This presentation will cover how the State of California’s Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program is progressing one year later after completion of an Expert Review Panel commissioned to conduct an independent, comprehensive examination of California’s Program. The Panel identified fundamental weaknesses that were hindering the program’s ability to achieve its mission to ensure the State has access to quality data for public and environmental health decision making. The presentation will also cover how California plans to address Non-Governmental Accreditation Body certificates for reciprocity.
