ABSTRACT
For over 20 years, the EPA 6020 method for elemental analysis by ICP-MS has been routinely used in environmental laboratories for a variety of sample types. During the past several decades, along with advancements in software, ICP-MS instrumentation has also evolved to include new technologies that better mitigate interferences, accelerate sample throughput, and simplify the method overall. In this presentation, we will explore the Agilent ICP-MS portfolio and its application to successfully implement EPA 6020 in the environmental laboratory.
