Eve Kroukamp

Eve Kroukamp is an Application Scientist in the Business Unit of PerkinElmer, operating out of the Woodbridge branch in Canada. Her portfolio includes speciation and environmental analysis. Eve joined PerkinElmer in July 2017, where prior to this she was an Instrument Scientist at a top Analytical Facility in South Africa in charge of ICP-MS, ICP-OES, SEM, Microscopy and sample preparation. In this role, Eve was one of the youngest members to have ever been elected (and re-elected) onto the national committee for the South African Association for Mass Spectrometry, and was elected as chairperson for one of the organizations sub-committees. Eve is a specialist in Environmental Analytical Chemistry and Ecotoxicology. She has submitted her PhD in Analytical Chemistry for assessment at the University of Pretoria, and has completed her MSc specializing in Ecotoxicology at the University of Johannesburg in 2011. She has published several articles and a book chapter, and has received poster and oral presentation awards for her work. In her spare time she enjoys rock climbing, yoga, running and has played the violincello since the age of 6.
