During the pandemic, the Oil and Gas industry worldwide experienced very difficult times. The prices and demand have weakened the industry. The export quantities for both crude oil and liquid natural gas have been maintained due to the international demand. The prices of crude oil have increased in the last two months. The shut-in wells are now being brought to production. Meanwhile, export and trade terminals have been built along the gulf coast. Factors and anticipated trends in exploration, completions and testing demands that affected the Oil and Gas Industry will be discussed.
This presentation will outline the changes during the pandemic and provide a glimpse into new developments and specifications for crude oil and implications for regulators and providers of sampling and analytical services.
