ABSTRACT
The NELAC Institute (TNI) is poised to complete the standards development process for 4 standards related to TNIs National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). These changes will affect over 1700 laboratories accredited to this standard as well as Accreditation Bodies and Proficiency Test Providers. Once the standards development process is complete, NELAP will begin an effort focused on implementing the standard in all the states that are part of NELAP. This session will review the standards development and implementation processes.
