Changes to the Proficiency Testing Standards

ABSTRACT

Proficiency Testing is a key component of a laboratory accreditation program and TNI has four standards that relate to this issue. Volume 1, Module 1 has the requirements for laboratories, Volume 2, Module 2 the requirements for Accreditation Bodies, Volume 3 the requirements for PT Providers and Volume 4 the requirements for PT Provider Accreditors. All four standards are being revised. This presentation will highlight all the changes that will occur and describe the benefits of these changes.
