Shane Steidley
Shane Steidley is a radiochemist at the Radiological and Environmental Sciences Laboratory where he is responsible for the determination of Sr-89/90 in a variety of hard to dissolve sample matrices including siliceous and organic samples of interest to DOE. He is also responsible for the determination and verification of other beta emitting radionuclides such as Ni-63, Fe-55, Tc-99, I-129, H-3, and C-14. Shane performs the statistical analysis for the MAPEP program and manages the MAPEP database. He earned his double Bachelor in Chemistry and Biochemistry and received his M.S. degree in Chemistry at Idaho State University.
