Leigh Fletcher

Leigh Kellett Fletcher owned and served as president of Ocean Systems Laboratory, Inc. since 2012. Ocean Systems Laboratory is the designated territorial public drinking water laboratory for the U.S. Virgin Islands and provides a variety of water quality analytical services to public and private customers the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.

She is currently chair of the GeoAquawatch Steering Committee, an international organization of scientists, regulators and academic institutions collaborating to develop a global water quality database product in connection with the GEOSS Group on Earth Observations.

In addition to leading the laboratories, Ms. Fletcher is a practicing environmental attorney licensed in Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She graduated with honors from Florida State University with a law degree and masters degree in public administration and is completing a masters in environmental science and policy at John Hopkins University.
