Jacob Oaxaca
Jacob Oaxaca serves as Unit Chief of California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program. He supervises an interdisciplinary group of technical staff developing California's laboratory accreditation regulations and leads laboratory surveillance investigations. Jacob holds a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked as an Environmental Chemist conducting field sampling and project management for environmental remediation and compliance projects. Previously, Jacob worked as a Research Technician with Chevron's Fuel Technology and Additives Division in Richmond, CA, where he performed sample analysis for product identification and product integrity using GC and FTIR instrumentation.
