Robert Brunette – Executive Vice President - Business Development

Mr. Brunette is the Vice President of Business Development for Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences that serves as the Center Of Excellence for Trace Metals and Metals Speciation for Eurofins Worldwide fleet of laboratories.

Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences, 20+ years ago, helped develop the principles of trace metals and metals speciation sampling and analysis methods, the principles of which today are used around the world. Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences (formerly Frontier Geosciences) served as the US EPA Reference and Validation Laboratory for the US EPA 1600 Series Trace Metals and Metals Speciation methods including US EPA 1640 “Determination Of Trace Elements In water By Pre-concentration ICP-MS” which is the subject of this presentation.

Mr. Brunette has been with Eurofins Frontier Global Sciences since 1996 serving as a trace mercury analytical chemist, project manager, mercury business unit lab manager, and senior staff member before becoming the vice president of Business Development in 2012. He has over 20 years of experience sampling and analyzing trace metals and metals speciation in a variety of sample types including water, soil, sediments, tissues, ambient air and emissions. Brunette has conducted EPA 1669 Trace Metal Clean sampling workshops for hundreds of staff from heavy industry, environmental consultants, universities and regulatory agencies. In addition, Brunette has managed some of Eurofins Frontier’s largest and complex projects including the National Atmospheric Deposition Program - Mercury Deposition Network that involved ~65 sponsoring agencies cross Canada and the US.
