Joanne Carpenter

Joanne has been working in the Research and Development department at CHEMetrics, Inc. for 20 years. She manages two other chemists involved in projects to improve upon the existing product line or to develop new water analysis test kits.
Prior to joining CHEMetrics Joanne worked at Virginia Tech’s Occoquan Watershed Monitoring Laboratory in Manassas, VA, as a Laboratory Supervisor for 5 years. She began her career working in R&D at Ocean Spray Cranberries where she was involved in a variety of analytical support activities for the Food Engineering and Analytical Support groups. Later on she shifted over to the Agricultural Research group to support field research in plant nutrition and soil science.
