Clare Johnston
Clare Johnston is currently a 5th year PhD candidate in the Chemistry Department at the University of Minnesota. Her research examines the synthesis, characterization, and evolving reactivity of iron oxide nanoparticles in environmental systems. In addition to her research, she is the President of the Chemistry Chapter of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), and a College of Science and Engineering Graduate Women Coordinator. Through these positions she hosts educational and professional development events for graduate women, as well as outreach events for aspiring women scientists.
