Wael Badawy
Dr. Wael Badawy is an associate professor in the joint institute for nuclear research in Dubna - Russia. He worked in the Egyptian atomic Energy Authority - Nuclear research center as an assistant professor before joining to JINR. He was the National Egyptian representative in UNSCEAR. He is a member of the Egyptian society for nuclear science and applications. He is an expert of radiation sources and safety of radiation sources. Currently, Dr. Badawy works in JINR and supervisors for MSc and PhD students. Main scientific areas of interest are; radioecology, environmental radiation protection, major and trace elements in soil and sediments, pollution, exposure, risk assessment, and neutron activation analysis and related techniques. In general, environmental studies using different analytical techniques.
