Nothing is more important than the quality of laboratory tests when making expert decisions. In the last decade we have seen tremendous strides in information technology’s (IT) ability to cultivate the technology in IT with how fast and how much data can be moved at one time. While these factors are significant in accelerating science it is still the information in IT yielding scientific solutions that solves real world problems today. But only if that information is correct. Analytical methods are truth standards for the quality of evidence. Tests should communicate the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth as they say, with analytical methods being the standard bearers for the quality of evidence.

This presentation will use a workflow of LCMS PFAS analysis to UCMR example for assistance in communicating the pillars of data integrity to the audience.

Key focus areas of the presentation:

• Problems: Functionality Gaps in Informatics Workflow
• Key Data Integrity Automation Benefits
• Key Purposes of Automating Laboratory Data Integrity
• Interoperable Connectivity Foundation
• Six Pillars of Data Integrity Automation
o Quality Assurance
o Safety Assurance
o Defensibility
o Reproducibility
o Traceability
o Transparent Bias
