Alexandria Turner is Chief of California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program's Development, Research, and Enforcement Unit. Alexandria holds a M.S. in Forensic Science from National University and a B.S. in Forensic Biology with a Chemistry Minor from California State University, Sacramento. She has a variety of experience in regulation and enforcement during her time at California's Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) and the state Department of Toxic Substances Control. Prior to joining California ELAP, she served as Laboratory Manager for a Cannabis Testing Laboratory, CanMedLabs. During her time at CanMedLabs, she played an integral role in the licensing process, ISO accreditation, method validations, and managed a diverse team of scientists and administrative staff. While at the Bureau of Cannabis Control she helped develop comprehensive regulations for cannabis testing laboratories and CEQA compliance and was active in the enforcement of cannabis testing laboratories through on-site inspections, data audits, and SOP reviews. When she's not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends and stay active through working out or playing basketball.
