Ebenezer Nyadjro
Ebenezer Nyadjro is a physical/satellite oceanographer and currently an Associate Research Professor at Mississippi State University. He is also an affiliate with the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information where he is leading the creation of a global microplastic database. Eben graduated with a BSc in Oceanography & Fisheries from the University of Ghana, an MS in Marine Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and a PhD in physical and satellite oceanography from the University of South Carolina. He previously worked at NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Lab (PMEL) in Seattle and the US Naval Research Lab, Stennis Space Center. Eben’s research focuses on microplastics, ocean currents, salinity, and air-sea interactions.
