ABSTRACT
The U.S. EPA Field Operations Group (FOG) Guidelines provides the elements recommended for field operations in order to ensure data of known and document quality. The National Environmental Accreditation Program (NEFAP) standard for field sampling and measurements organization (FSMO) presents requirements to demonstrate the technical competence of these organizations.
The FOG guidelines and TNI FSMO standard have similar information. This presentation will compare the two documents in order for field operations to see how accreditation to the TNI standard provides data of known and document quality and meets the U.S. EPA FOG Guidelines.
