Dominic Lortie

Dominic Lortie is a chemist at the Centre d'Expertise en Analyse Environnementale du Québec (CEAEQ), a branch of the ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, Wildlife and Parks of the province of Quebec, Canada. He holds a M.Sc. degree in analytical chemistry from Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada, and he is currently completing a Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering at École Polytechnique in Montreal, Canada. As part of the CEAEQ, Mr. Lortie specializes in emergency preparedness and response planning. He provides extensive training to the first responder community in relation to man-made and natural disasters, including accidental releases of radioactive and chemical substances in the environment.
