Neno Duplan

Neno Duplan is the founder, President, and CEO of Locus Technologies, a Silicon Valley-based environmental software company founded in 1997. Locus has pioneered the application of an online, on-demand model for data management in the environmental industry.

Locus Technologies is in large part responsible for the creation of an emerging technical sector: the storage and management of environmental industry data using Cloud computing. These data include the mountain of complex information related to water quality, air emissions, energy consumption, greenhouse gasses, and other activities, which, in the past, had been stored in various distributed silo applications.

Dr. Duplan earned a B.S. and Ph.D. degrees, in civil engineering from the University of Zagreb, Croatia and M.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He has taught classes and was guest lecturer at Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and U.C. Berkeley. Dr. Duplan is the author of more than 50 technical papers on the use of technology in the environmental industry.
